Chapter 7 Ga Le Ge Tomb?
Chapter 7 Ga Le Ge Tomb?
Andrea picked up the gel pet that had crawled into her arms: "The reason I chose to be an adventurer is because adventurers are more likely to steal, and adventurers travel around and come into contact with more things."
"As for why I was kidnapped by goblins, it's because the high elf who was supposed to be on the mission with me betrayed me."
"She always said she wanted to revive the elven race. I don't understand why she would do something like this. If I catch her, I will definitely ask her about it."
Although we'll be on the same team in the future, Terra doesn't need to trouble herself with this matter; I can handle it myself. There might be times when I can't act with you, so please let me know in advance.
"So besides defeating the Moon Lord, Director, there are side quests too. I'm glad I heard the story, otherwise I would have skipped through life. Director, I will definitely help you complete your side quests no matter what."
Terra was somewhat looking forward to completing the guide's side quests, wondering what she would get in return.
"Terra, are you planning to achieve some ulterior motive by constantly making me owe favors?"
"I just want everything about you."
Hearing that when you haven't returned my boots is anything but romantic!
"And you, Terra, I have told you as honestly as possible about my background and purpose. Of course, I don't intend to morally blackmail you or demand that you be honest with me in return. I did this only because of your life-saving grace, to show that I am worthy of your trust."
"You can keep things from me, I just want to have a basic understanding of my future teammates, at least to trust them."
"So the mentor doesn't trust me?" Terra thought to herself, "This new version of the mentor is so troublesome."
Terraria isn't like that.
Why would an NPC question him?
Do I have to keep increasing my favorability through side quests?
Shouldn't we trust him unconditionally after rescuing him? Even if an NPC is killed by a boss while fighting at our doorstep, when he respawns at our doorstep the next morning, shouldn't he smile and say to Terra, "Hey Terra, how can I help you?"
A cross-dresser is not as good as a real mother. The guide mother in the old world trusted him unconditionally and helped him defeat the moon lord.
She didn't even complain when Terra pushed her into the lava to summon the Wall of Flesh.
Andrea waved her hands in front of her chest: "I believe Terra is a good person one hundred percent, I just want one percent more confidence."
Terra recounted what she had done in her previous world and how she had come to this world through the portal.
"So, Terra, you're planning to defeat that Moon Lord in this world and go back to see your Guide Mother, right?"
Although Terra didn't say it explicitly, Andrea felt that she was just a substitute for "that guide" in Terra's heart. Even though she and Terra didn't have a very close relationship, she still felt inexplicably uncomfortable.
"According to what you've said, Terra, it sounds like some high elf performed a summoning ritual, but our elders at the Amber Room haven't done that. And I'm not bragging, but if even we elves, who possess a vast collection of ancient artifacts and documents, can't do it, then other elves certainly can't either."
"Could they be high elves from the Eternal Mountain of the Gods in the East?"
Andrea put the pet back on the ground, thought for a moment, and then scratched her hair.
"In short, I trust you, Terra."
After chatting for a while, Andrea decided to go and rest, while Terra, just as he had said, showed no signs of sleepiness.
She initially thought Terra was just a powerful mage, but the more she learned about him, the more mysterious he seemed.
Andrea didn't plan to stay in the "piece" of room on the ceiling, but instead went to a corner.
However, halfway there, she thought for a moment, then turned around and looked at Terra somewhat awkwardly.
About your pet.
I don't know if there's something wrong with my eyes, or if my brain is just too tired.
"To me, that's clearly a girl, isn't it?"
Terra and Andrea both looked at the pet: it looked exactly like a human little girl, and you couldn't tell its age at all. Do slimes even have ages? It looked like a chibi-style character, except its body was made of copper-colored slime gel.
A cute little bronze helmet was stuck crookedly on its head, and a bronze dagger about the size of a knife was stuffed inside its belly.
Unlike the slimes outside, she was a complete human.
"Oh, this is what the town pet Guard Slime looks like after being given a female version of its appearance. Isn't it cute?" Terra patted its head.
"Bili-bulu~" The slime girl enjoyed it for a while, then hugged Andrea's leg.
She's still barefoot, and when the slime girl comes close, it feels cool and comfortable.
Looking at the girl's bewildered face, Andrea, putting herself in her shoes, asked, "Terra, you didn't do anything to her, did you?"
"I've done that to it before, but it couldn't detect anything. Since you're here, I can only do it to you."
"3, 3P?!" Andrea and the slime intertwined their fingers and backed away.
"It was considered a town pet. Because of animal protection reasons, the pet was killed. The pop-up message said that so-and-so has left, instead of so-and-so has died."
"So regardless of whether it's softcore mode or hardcore mode, it's all over and no grave is given."
"Stop! Stop talking nonsense." Andrea quickly interrupted, "I admit I'm an elf with a head full of dirty thoughts... I'm going to sleep."
She lay down with the slime in her arms, her eyelids gradually becoming heavy, and she drifted off to sleep.
*
After an unknown amount of time, Andrea groggily awoke to find herself in complete darkness with a burning torch at her feet.
Andrea snapped back to reality and lifted her foot, but quickly noticed that the torch had passed right through her body and the flames were cold.
By the light of the fire, she could see that the surrounding walls were rough earthen walls, forming a small space just big enough for her to stand in.
"Is that Terra? What are you doing?"
Andrea was exhausted. Terra's boundless energy in the middle of the night was preventing her from getting a proper rest.
Hopefully, teaming up with Terra will reduce these kinds of troubles.
She sat down against the wall, and a moment later, she saw a block of yellow sand fall down without warning, piercing through her body. The block landed on the torch, instantly turning into an object and being sucked out of the wall.
This familiar feeling quickly reminded her of the slime girl who was killed by a sandstorm.
Suddenly, Andrea felt a warm sensation on her forehead and instinctively reached up to touch it.
She thought it was just sweat from the heat, but there seemed to be too much... She trembled as she brought her hand to the firelight, and a crimson stain stung her eyes in the dim light.
It's blood?!
Before she could recover from the shock, blocks made of yellow sand rained down on her head like collapsing building blocks.
*
She was momentarily stunned as the nightmare from the previous night replayed in her mind.
She couldn't quite remember why she was standing on the grass outside Terra's residence. She raised her hand to shield her eyes from the sunlight and looked around. Was it early morning?
She saw Terra running over from his strange residence, a smiley face bubble popping up above her head: "Director, you refreshed so late! I've been waiting for so long."
Very well, she still can't understand what this guy is saying.
However, she noticed that Terra was wearing a green hat with a wide brim and feather trim, which looked very similar to the one on her head, except that it was square-shaped.
"Now that it's daytime, let's set off. The nearest town is quite far from here." She turned to go back and pack her things. "Also, my name is Andrea 1, so please stop calling me Guide."
Smiley bubble appeared above Terra's head, and the sunlight slanted in from behind him, gilding his blocky outline with a layer of gold. Because of the backlighting, Andrea 1 could not quite see Terra's face, which was hidden in the shadows.
"Alright, Director, let's go! Let's defeat the Moon Lord and save the world!"
